Jody Bickle
Jody Marshall

Jodie began dancing at age three, studying Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Singing. Throughout the years, she has participated in examinations, competitions, conventions, TV shows and many live events around Perth. By the age of 15, she took an interest in teaching and by 18, she completed her CSTD student teachers diploma with JMDC.

Jodie ventured to London at age 20 and this is where her career in dance ultimately began. She was hired for a cabaret show in the Canary Islands as a Dancer / Acrobat for six months and she then returned to London and auditioned for a Hip Hop / Street Dance group called Identity with whom, she danced for over a year at corporate events throughout London as well as competing in the UK Hip Hop Championships at Hammersmith Apollo. Her training with many different choreographers is what makes Jodie so versatile today.

After two years of dance and travel, Jodie returned home, where she is now a sought after guest teacher/choreographer/dancer for many schools/events in Perth. Teaching for JMDC is an absolute pleasure by allowing her to share her knowledge and experience with enthusiastic students. Her goals are to continuously push the boundaries and bring new and exciting ideas of dance to every class.
